Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate should have direct experience in infrastructure design and construction, focusing on sustainable practices and compliance with engineering standards. Responsibilities include managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You'll play a crucial role in developing plans and overseeing construction while adhering to local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and simulations of mechanical components using CAD software.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to improve efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on mechanical systems and safety protocols.
• Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Develop prototypes for testing and validation of new designs.
• Document findings and adjustments made during the testing phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product development and mechanical design

Technical Skills

• CATIA
• MATLAB

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages
