Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing events from conception to completion, ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and guests. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, manage budgets, and liaise with suppliers to deliver memorable occasions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of event themes and designs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote events.
• Evaluate and select appropriate event technology for registration and engagement.
• Develop contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances during events.
• Oversee post-event follow-ups with clients for feedback.
• Manage event registration processes and participant communications.

Advantageous

• Certifications in Event Planning: Certifications such as CMP or CMM are a plus.
• Experience with Virtual Events: Familiarity with hosting and managing virtual events.
