We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from site assessments to project management, playing a crucial role in our projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
• Create project schedules and manage workflows effectively.
• Provide recommendations for materials and construction methods.
• Ensure all engineering practices comply with local and national standards.
• Participate in project budget preparation and cost estimation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and resolve issues.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
• Develop and implement sustainable engineering practices.
• Support marketing efforts by providing technical expertise during project pitches.
• Maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
