We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dedicated dental team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, diagnosing and treating a variety of dental conditions, and promoting overall patient health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new dental equipment and technologies to improve the clinic's offerings.
• Engage in continuing education to stay up-to-date on best practices.
• Promote a team-oriented practice environment through collaboration.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss clinic goals and improvements.
• Provide mentorship to junior dental staff and students.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Specialization in orthodontics or periodontics is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in dentistry

Technical Skills

• Expert in restorative procedures
• Knowledge of dental emergencies

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Team player and leadership skills

Certifications

• Registered with HPCSA
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of complex dental surgeries: Ability to perform advanced surgeries such as implants and extractions.
• Participation in dental research: Involvement in studies to advance dental practices and patient care.
