Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for improving mental health outcomes in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills and be eager to work with a diverse client base, implementing evidence-based therapies in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental health disorders in clients, and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions using modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family therapy.
  • Engage in community outreach and education about mental health.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers on patient cases.
  • Participate in supervision and peer review sessions to enhance professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Psychology is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in therapy and assessment

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
