Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for improving mental health outcomes in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills and be eager to work with a diverse client base, implementing evidence-based therapies in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological tests to evaluate client needs and progress.
• Develop and implement organization-wide mental health initiatives.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Document treatment outcomes and adjust treatment approaches accordingly.
• Contribute to case management and advocacy for client resources.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology
• Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Psychology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in therapy and assessment

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Family Therapy

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Psychologist

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Proficient
