We are seeking a passionate Dentist to join our skilled team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general dentistry and a commitment to delivering high-quality care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing routine cleanings, and providing education on oral health practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental diseases and injuries.
• Perform extractions and minor surgical procedures.
• Administer anesthesia and sedation where necessary.
• Provide customized treatment plans based on assessment.
• Monitor patient’s recovery and follow up care.
• Utilise digital imaging and other advanced diagnostic tools.
• Manage patient flow in the clinic to ensure efficient service.
• Train and supervise junior staff and dental assistants.
• Implement best practices in patient care and clinic management.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming clinic environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Postgraduate studies in Orthodontics is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Restorative Dentistry
• Oral Hygiene Education

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Dental Therapist
• Sedation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
