Responsibilities

• Examine patients and obtain medical histories.
• Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
• Perform dental surgeries as necessary.
• Educate patients on diet and oral hygiene.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
• Provide guidance and counseling for post-treatment care.
• Work closely with dental hygienists and staff to maintain workflow.
• Research new dental advancements and recommend implementations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Specialization in a dental field is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general dentistry

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia Administration
• Preventive Care Techniques

Certifications

• SADC Registration
• BLS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Intermediate
