Production Utility Worker

Job Description

The Production Utility Worker will be responsible for supporting the production team by performing a variety of manufacturing, packaging, and assembly tasks. Key duties will include operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the efficient running of the production line.
• Maintain equipment by conducting minor repairs and adjustments.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment failures to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Ensure that all work is performed according to established safety guidelines.
• Assist with compiling and submitting daily production reports.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Certification in a relevant production or manufacturing field is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting

Technical Skills

• Automated Production Equipment
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with automated production equipment: Hands-on experience with machines that assist in manufacturing processes.
