Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans for clients facing various mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of clients.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in counseling practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Licensure as a clinical social worker is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting
