Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator in Durban, you will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations and ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of goods. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics processes and address any challenges that arise.

Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Manager in day-to-day operations and logistics projects.
• Evaluate and optimize transportation strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and carriers.
• Maintain and update logistics software and systems for tracking shipments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination or operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
