Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Surveyor to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in surveying, specifically in structural analysis and inspections. You will be crucial in assessing project sites, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate reports to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey teams to perform on-site investigations.
• Develop and implement survey methodologies tailored to project needs.
• Train junior surveyors on best practices and equipment usage.
• Review and analyze data from surveys to draw accurate conclusions.
• Engage with local authorities to ensure all permits and approvals are in place.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in structural assessment and surveying

Technical Skills

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Building Codes Compliance

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
