We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on health and wellness issues, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
Responsibilities
Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations.
Review prescriptions for accuracy and legal compliance.
Counsel patients on medication interactions and side effects.
Promote health and wellness by conducting community outreach programs.
Implement pharmacy initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes.
Participate in patient health assessments.
Keep abreast of new drugs and treatment protocols.
Resolve discrepancies in medication orders.
Assist in formulating pharmacy policies.
Contribute to training and mentorship of new pharmacy staff.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous
Experience
2-4 years of clinical pharmacy experience
