We are searching for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
• Monitor market trends that may affect supply chain operations.
• Plan and implement warehousing and distribution strategies.
• Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their supply chain understanding.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related discipline
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years working in a supply chain capacity

Technical Skills

• Procurement Management
• Inventory Control

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in data analysis tools: Ability to use data analytics tools for supply chain forecasting.
• Experience in supplier relationship management: Expertise in building and maintaining effective supplier partnerships.
