Job Description

Seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our Bloemfontein office. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are achieved effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise construction staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any delays.
• Prepare project performance reports for management.
• Enhance processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management are preferred

Experience

• 6+ years in a managerial role within construction
