Job Description

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing machine learning models, as well as a strong understanding of AI principles. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists and product teams to create innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build machine learning prototypes and proof-of-concept projects.
• Conduct research to enhance existing models and identify new opportunities.
• Assist in data collection and cleaning for machine learning applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Present results to stakeholders and influence product strategy using data-driven insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning or Data Science
• Master's degree is a plus

• 4+ years in AI-related projects
