Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer with a solid foundation in engineering concepts and practical experience in the field. Your expertise will drive our projects from initial planning through to successful completion. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to develop solutions that meet client needs while adhering to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and construction documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform project cost estimates and financial analysis.
• Assist in preparing grant applications and funding proposals.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations to discuss project details.
• Research and integrate sustainable practices into projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil 3D
• Soil Mechanics

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in BIM software: Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools for project management.
