Job Description

As a Civil Rights Advocate, you will be at the forefront of fighting for social justice. Your role will involve collaborating with communities, conducting outreach programs, and providing legal support to advocate for human rights. Ideal candidates possess a passion for equality and have experience in advocacy work.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of civil rights issues.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in need.
  • Plan and execute advocacy campaigns addressing systemic injustices.
  • Work with policymakers to influence legislative changes for better human rights protections.
  • Document and report on human rights violations and abuses.
  • Foster partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Sociology, or relevant field
  • Master's in Human Rights or related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in advocacy, community organizing, or legal aid work
