We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning methodologies, along with experience in deploying models in production environments. You will collaborate with data scientists to develop algorithms that drive insightful decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices for model training and feature selection.
• Monitor model performance during deployment and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns on machine learning topics.
• Contribute to research and development of innovative machine learning techniques.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, emphasizing the value added by AI solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Machine Learning or AI is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in ML/AI development
