Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building Ironworker to join our dedicated team. This individual will be instrumental in erecting and installing metal buildings safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Construct pre-engineered metal buildings with precision and care.
• Use hand tools and welding equipment competently.
• Understand and follow all safety protocols diligently.
• Document progress and report any issues to supervisors.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure adherence to quality control measures during installations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Certificate in Ironworking or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in pre-engineered metal building installation and repair.

Technical Skills

• Welding
• Blueprint Reading

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• Welding Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with heavy machinery operation: Ability to operate cranes, hoists, and other heavy machinery.
• Driver's license: Valid driver’s license for site transportation.
