Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Landscape Architect to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will lead and contribute to a variety of landscape projects aimed at enhancing urban and rural environments. Your expertise will help shape sustainable and innovative designs while collaborating closely with clients, urban planners, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop innovative landscape solutions.
  • Conduct research on plants, materials, and environmental conditions.
  • Draft landscape architectural drawings using CAD software.
  • Interact with local government and regulatory agencies for project approval.
  • Monitor landscape installation activities and resolve any issues.
  • Promote the importance of green spaces and environmental stewardship.
  • Encourage collaboration among team members and enhance team dynamics.
  • Document project developments and outcomes for internal and external reporting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Studies, or related field
  • Master's degree is beneficial but not required
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in landscape architecture or design
