Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of work.
• Assess and manage risks, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Coordinate with local authorities for compliance and permits.
• Evaluate contractor performance and contract compliance.
• Train and mentor junior staff and site workers in best practices.
• Utilize construction management software to track project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years in managing construction projects

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
