Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and health professionals to develop and implement effective public health initiatives that address health disparities and promote health equity.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address health barriers faced by marginalized communities.
• Implement strategies to promote mental health awareness.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on health topics.
• Contribute to research projects related to public health trends.
• Prepare and deliver public health presentations to stakeholders.
• Serve as a resource for public health information and guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in health program management

Certifications
