Job Description

As an Investment Banking Analyst in Cape Town, you will be responsible for conducting valuation analyses, creating financial models, and preparing reports for clients. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills while thriving in a collaborative environment. A degree in finance or related fields and relevant internship experiences are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support investment bankers in due diligence and risk assessments.
• Participate in client meetings, taking notes and providing insights as needed.
• Prepare summaries and reports on ongoing projects for management updates.
• Couple client relationships with detailed research on their industry dynamics.
• Contribute to the development of innovative pitches and proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics or Mathematics

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking

Certifications

• CFA Level II (or above)
