Machine Feeder and Offbearer (Cupola Charger)

Job Description

As a Cupola Charger, you will play a critical role in metal production by efficiently charging raw materials into the cupola furnace. Your ability to monitor furnace conditions and communicate with the production team will ensure a smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials accurately to meet production targets.
• Monitor melting processes and adjust conditions as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Work with quality control inspectors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Engage in problem-solving discussions to address operational challenges.
• Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of raw materials.
• Report any malfunctions or safety issues to the management immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in metal production or a related field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience operating a Cupola furnace or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.
