Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our dedicated team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical support principles and a passion for troubleshooting. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping our clients resolve their IT problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve technical faults in a timely manner.
• Assist with system backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain clear communication with users regarding issue status.
• Research and recommend new technologies for improvement.
• Handle elevated cases from junior staff members.
• Contribute to the development of user manuals and guides.
• Provide feedback on IT processes and suggest improvements.
• Implement security measures to protect IT assets.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or IT
• Relevant certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Remote Support Tools

• Network+ Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
