Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance. Your role will involve diagnosing hardware and software issues, providing effective solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for users experiencing IT challenges.
  • Lead efforts to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Create and maintain user documentation for IT procedures.
  • Assist in inventory management of IT equipment.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in workflows.
  • Conduct regular system audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for support when necessary.
  • Participate in IT projects as required, providing support and expertise.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Computer Science or IT Support
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
