Responsibilities

• Diagnose oral diseases and determine treatment.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment timelines.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists when necessary.
• Engage with community outreach programs and workshops.
• Contribute to continuous education and training initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Master's in Dentistry or equivalent is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in family dentistry

Technical Skills

• Root Canal Treatment
• Orthodontic Skills

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in creating treatment plans: Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Specialization in pediatric dentistry: Experience working with children and understanding their dental needs.
