Job Description

As a Social Worker in Johannesburg, you will engage with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized care plans. You will work closely with other professionals and community organizations to address social issues and promote well-being among individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial support to clients dealing with trauma.
• Facilitate support groups for individuals facing similar issues.
• Assist clients in navigating the social service system.
• Work with families to develop solutions to improve their situations.
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings.
• Perform follow-up visits to ensure continued support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social work
