Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of software testing methodologies and excellent analytical skills. This role involves developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of robust software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test cases, ensuring they cover all functional requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform load and performance testing to validate software under various conditions.
• Actively participate in project meetings to communicate quality assurance updates.
• Provide input on product releases and give recommendations based on quality metrics.
• Assist in the training of junior QA team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications in software testing are highly preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA roles with a focus on automation
