Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloth Piecer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly joining broken ends of yarn or cloth in a fast-paced textile environment. Your attention to detail and understanding of fabric quality will contribute immensely to our production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of stitched fabrics before final approval.
• Work within strict timelines to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation to comply with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent
• Qualifications in textile manufacturing preferred

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in textile manufacturing or similar role

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving
• Machine maintenance

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of quality control standards in textile manufacturing: Familiarity with procedures to maintain fabric and stitching quality.
• Proficiency in basic sewing repairs: Ability to perform minor repairs on fabric and equipment.
