Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Compliance Officer to join our growing team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across all operations. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, thorough knowledge of relevant laws, and the ability to implement effective compliance protocols that align with our business goals. You will act as a key support in audits while collaborating with various departments to enhance compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Draft compliance-related documentation and policies.
• Conduct compliance training workshops and sessions.
• Assist in the development of compliance strategies.
• Provide support during regulatory audits and inspections.
• Evaluate current compliance procedures and suggest enhancements.
• Work proactively to resolve compliance-related issues.
• Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.
• Support the implementation of new compliance technologies.
• Document all compliance-related findings and actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or Business Administration
• A master's in business compliance is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance management roles
