Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing design specifications and producing detailed engineering documentation. Your expertise in mechanical systems will help drive our projects towards successful outcomes while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulations and modeling to predict system performance.
• Provide insights during the planning and execution phases of projects.
• Lead root cause analysis for mechanical failures and defects.
• Enhance product designs based on customer feedback.
• Participate in the development of training materials for staff.
• Conduct audits and assessments of engineering practices.
• Research and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

• Prototyping and testing

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Expertise in HVAC Systems: Hands-on experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Automotive Engineering Experience: Knowledge of automotive systems and their engineering.
