Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our talented team in Port Elizabeth. The role will involve overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage design and construction phases of civil engineering projects.
  • Ensure project compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders.
  • Review technical designs and proposals for feasibility.
  • Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimation.
  • Identify and remedy project risks proactively.
  • Work on enhancing designs to meet sustainability goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and records.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or related is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering roles
