Join our Durban team as an Electrical Engineer, where you’ll engage in designing and executing electrical projects. Your responsibilities will include supporting the engineering team with technical expertise and ensuring that our electrical systems are efficient, safe, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project development from initial design through to final implementation.
• Ensure all work aligns with quality assurance processes and industry standards.
• Utilize simulation software for electrical designs and adjustments.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to secure necessary materials and components.
• Participate in regular team reviews to assess project progress.
• Create detailed project schedules and maintain documentation.
• Involve in electrical system troubleshooting and provide solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior engineering staff in best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and ensure best practices are applied.
• Culture a safety-first mentality within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) status is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in electrical engineering projects
