Job Description

The Christmas Tree Farm Manager is responsible for the overall operations of our tree farm. This includes managing the planting, growth, harvesting, and marketing of Christmas trees, ensuring sustainable farming practices throughout.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all operational aspects of the Christmas tree farm.
• Supervise the care of Christmas trees from planting to harvest.
• Monitor weather conditions and implement protective measures as needed.
• Ensure a sustainable approach to farming, utilizing best practices.
• Manage the day-to-day functions of the farm, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Assist with the marketing and sales efforts for holiday season success.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed on the farm.
• Develop training programs for new farm staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain clear communication with the team and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
• Certification in Christmas Tree Farming is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in agricultural management
