Farm Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Farm Manager to oversee our agricultural operations in Mbombela. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in farming practices, crop management, and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives for sustainable and organic farming.
• Develop relationships with local suppliers and markets.
• Optimize resource usage, including water and fertilizers.
• Conduct regular farm audits and assessments.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs.
• Report on farm performance to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Agriculture
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management is preferred

Experience

• At least 7 years of hands-on farm management experience

Technical Skills

• Agricultural Technology
• Irrigation Management

Certifications

• Organic Farming Certification
• Pesticide Applicator License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
