Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Compliance Officer to join our compliance management team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, safeguarding our company’s reputation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Interact with senior management to ensure compliance issues are addressed.
• Review contracts and business agreements for compliance.
• Conduct whistleblower investigations as needed.
• Implement compliance monitoring tools and systems.
• Generate and analyze compliance metrics to inform decision-making.
• Advise on the compliance aspects of business proposals.
• Maintain a network with compliance professionals for best practices sharing.
• Lead compliance awareness campaigns within the organization.
• Document compliance processes and update as required.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Law or related field
• Professional compliance certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance management or related roles

• CCEP-I Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
