Job Description

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase web traffic. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and current trends to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy for social media content creation and dissemination.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of social media strategies regularly.
  • Cultivate relationships with followers to foster community.
  • Deliver training and support to team members on social media best practices.
  • Research industry trends for new opportunities in social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing content.
  • Manage crisis communications and resolve issues that arise on social platforms.
  • Create and manage social media advertising campaigns.
  • Deliver presentations on social media performance to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing are preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
