You'll be responsible for grooming a variety of breeds and ensuring that pets leave looking and feeling their best.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets of various breeds according to owner specifications.
• Provide a warm and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Assist in the training of junior grooming staff as required.
• Take part in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving grooming operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred degree in Animal Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in a grooming environment

Technical Skills

• Grooming Software
• Basic Veterinary Care

Certifications

• Certified Professional Groomer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with special needs pets: Ability to handle and groom pets requiring special attention.
• Multilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Xhosa is a plus.
