Interventional Cardiologist

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, performing procedures such as angioplasty and stent placements, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a variety of cardiovascular diseases and conditions.
• Perform complex interventional procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health and treatments.
• Document all patient interactions and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Drive initiatives for improving patient care and outcomes.
• Mentor junior physicians and interns in interventional cardiology.
• Conduct research and clinical trials to advance the field of cardiology.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience performing interventional procedures.

• Stent Placement

Certifications

• Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• ACLS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in medical imaging software: Expertise in using medical imaging software for treatment planning.
• Previous hospital experience: Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting.
