We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve web rankings. Your expertise will drive our online visibility and improve web presence, making a significant impact on our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement data-driven SEO strategies to enhance client visibility.
• Perform keyword analysis and assess website traffic trends.
• Conduct on-site and off-site SEO audits to provide actionable insights.
• Work closely with content producers to optimize existing and new content.
• Monitor SEO performance and prepare detailed performance reports.
• Stay updated with new SEO tools and techniques.
• Develop link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Enhance website architecture and internal linking structure.
• Provide periodic training to team members on SEO practices.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on digital strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related field
• Master's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in SEO and digital marketing roles

Technical Skills

• SEO Software (e.g. Moz, Ahrefs)
• Content Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Creative Problem-solving

Certifications

• HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
• SEO Certification from a recognized institute

Languages

• English: Fluent
