Interior Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our creative team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing interior spaces that meet client needs and reflect their personal style. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics and a solid understanding of design principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to understand their design preferences.
• Draft detailed design plans and specifications for contractor execution.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate designs into larger projects.
• Organize and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional materials related to design projects.
• Create visually appealing presentations for design concepts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• Certified Interior Decorator (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
