Job Description

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our creative team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing interior spaces that meet client needs and reflect their personal style. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics and a solid understanding of design principles.

Responsibilities

• Translate client desires into tangible design solutions.
• Manage projects from concept through to execution, maintaining budget considerations.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of furniture and decorative furnishings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Address client questions and concerns throughout the design process.
• Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to bring fresh ideas to projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• Certified Interior Decorator (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
