Job Description

As a General Practitioner with us, you'll deliver comprehensive healthcare services, develop treatment plans, and work collaboratively with our medical team. Your expertise will significantly impact patient care and contribute to a healthier community in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Engage with community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Provide support and guidance to nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a General Practitioner in a clinical setting
