Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of IT systems and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Offer first-line support for software and hardware inquiries.
  • Update and maintain ticketing system for support requests.
  • Assist with backups and data recovery procedures.
  • Implement software security updates and patches.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create tutorials.
  • Work with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of IT support experience
