Job Description

The Shoe Machine Operator will be responsible for preparing and applying various linings to shoe surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Applying coatings to various shoe components as per specifications.
• Monitoring and adjusting machine settings to optimize output.
• Evaluating the quality of applied linings and making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborating closely with other departments for smooth operations.
• Completing all necessary paperwork associated with production.
• Participating in health and safety audits as required.
• Continuously seeking improvements in techniques and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in coating or lining applications is a plus

Experience

• Experience in an industrial or construction project setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of coatings
• Painting equipment experience

Soft Skills

• Effective interpersonal skills
• Dependability

Certifications

• OSHA safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Understanding of different lining materials: Knowledge of various materials applicable in lining processes.
