Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at HealthCare Medical Group, you will provide comprehensive nursing services including patient assessments, treatment plans, and education. Your ability to collaborate with a diverse team will enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyles.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided.
• Stay updated on nursing best practices and medical developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare environment

Technical Skills

• Clinical Assessment
• IV Therapy

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Additional certifications in critical care: Certifications such as CCRN or CEN are a plus.
• Bilingualism: Ability to communicate in more than one language, enhancing patient interaction.
