Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuary to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. This role involves analysing financial risks and using mathematical models to provide insights that drive business decisions. As an Actuary, you will work closely with various teams to develop strategies for risk management and meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced statistical techniques to forecast trends and assess risks.
• Lead projects involving comprehensive risk evaluations and strategies.
• Present findings to management and clients to guide decision-making processes.
• Mentor junior actuaries and support their professional development.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance model development.
• Participate in industry forums to maintain professional knowledge and network.
• Ensure timely completion of actuarial reports and compliance documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Additional certifications in Risk Management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in actuarial analysis
