We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will analyse financial data, prepare forecasts, and assist in strategic planning to help our clients make informed business decisions. Your expertise in finance will be essential in driving our business growth and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Create presentations to communicate financial results to stakeholders.
• Work alongside the finance team to improve existing processes.
• Engage in market research to inform financial strategies.
• Support the compilation of income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop key performance indicators for financial analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis with experience in consulting preferred

Certifications

• CFA Level II
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Professional certification such as CPA or CIMA: Possession of a professional accounting or management accounting qualification.
• Proficiency in SQL: Ability to query databases to extract and analyse financial data.
