Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient operations and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain management principles, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of supply chain costs and identify savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate supply chain efforts.
  • Utilize software tools and systems for data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop strategies for inventory control and optimization.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate supply chain challenges.
  • Assist in the development of budgets for supply chain operations.
  • Review and refine supply chain processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Provide insights into supply chain trends to improve overall operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields
  • Master's degree in Logistics or Business Administration preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain roles
