Job Description

Seeking a talented Architect with experience in both residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life while adhering to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept to completion.
• Research and implement innovative design strategies.
• Prepare project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior architects and interns in design principles and practices.
• Ensure projects align with the company's vision and sustainability goals.
• Attend meetings with clients to discuss progress and modifications.
• Examine and select materials for construction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or Sustainability is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant architectural experience

Technical Skills

• BIM Software (Revit)
• Design Software (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Team leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiXhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Strong visual communication skills: Ability to create compelling visual presentations for clients.
• Proficient in 3D rendering software: Experience with rendering tools to showcase architectural concepts.
